"Death By a Thousand Cuts" is an homage to Taylor Swift but also to the technique used. With each cut into the wood, I felt like I was taking a part of the pain with it each time to create the image. By the end of the piece, I felt like I had truly experienced her music through this piece and the numb feelings that come when even the traffic lights tell you "I don't know."
